Thomas S. Blanton

Thomas S. Blanton is a graduate of Harvard University. He won a 2005 Emmy Award for outstanding television news and documentary research. He co-authored "The Chronology" on the Iran-Contra affair and served as a contributing author to three editions of the American Civil Liberty Union's authoritative guide, "Litigation Under the Federal Open Government Laws" and to "Atomic Audit: The Costs and Consequences of U.S. Nuclear Weapons". He works as the Director (since 1992) of the independent non-governmental National Security Archive at George Washington University, Washington D.C.
