Thomas Fischer

Thomas Fischer received his Ph.D. in Political Science at the University of Zurich. Among his most recent works is “’A Mustard Seed Grew Up to a Bushy Tree’: The Finnish CSCE-Initiative of 5 May 1969” submitted in 2007.  Two of his works, “Austria and the Helsinki Process 1954-1989” and “The Birth of the N+NA: Austrian and Swiss Foreign Policy in the CSCE 1969-1975”, are forthcoming. He works as a Research Affiliate at the Austrian Institute for International Affairs (OIIP) in Vienna and is also a Visiting Lecturer at the University of Vienna.
