Ranka Gasic

Ranka Gasic was born in Belgrade (Yugoslavia). She graduated from the Faculty of Philosophy at the University of Belgrade where she received her Ph.D. Currently she is working at the Institute for Contemporary History in Belgrade. Her major field of research is the cultural and social history between the two World Wars and the Serbo-Croatian relationships. Some of her publications are: "Novi kurs Srba u Hrvatskoj. Srbobran 1903-1914” (Zagreb 2001); “Beograd u hodu ka Evropi. Kulturni uticaji Britanije i Nemacke na beogradsku elitu 1918-1941” (Beograd 2005). Ms. Gasic is also Member of the Board of the Zikic Fund.
