Ljubinka Trgovcevic-Mitrovic

Ljubinka Trgovcevic-Mitrovic was born in Sarajevo (Yugoslavia). She studied history at the University of Belgrade where she received her Ph.D. She is currently head of the Department for History at the Faculty of Political Sciences in Belgrade. Her major field of research is Serbian history of the 19th and 20th century, especially the creation of the Serbian intelligence and their political engagement. Some of her publications are: “Naucnici Srbije i stvaranje jugoslovenske drzave 1914-1920” (1986); “Istorija srpske knjizevne zadruge 1892-1992” (1992). Prof. Trgovcevic is also the Chairman of the Board of the Zikic Fund.
