Joachim Scholtyseck

Joachim Scholtyseck studied history, political science, history of art and sociology at the University of Bonn. Since April 2001 he is Professor for Modern and Contemporary History at the University of Bonn. Focus of his research are: German empire, Ita lian history in 19th and 20th century, American history in the 20th century as well as Fascism, National Socialism, Cold War and foreign affairs of the German Democratic Republic.
