Robert Gerald Hughes

Robert Gerald Hughes got his PhD degree in International History at the University of Wales, Aberystwyth, 1996-2000. His two recent publications are “Britain, Germany and the Cold War: The Search for a European Detente, 1949-1967” and “Exploring Intelligence Archives: Enquiries into the Secret State” in 2007. Forthcoming in 2008 is “Intelligence, Crises and Security: Prospects and Retrospects”. He works as a Lecturer at the Department of International Politics, University of Wales, Aberystwyth.
