Dittmar Dahlmann

Dittmar Dahlmann was born in Düsseldorf (Germany) where he completed his studies in history and philosophy, and received his Ph.D. He is Professor of East European History at the University of Bonn. His major fields arei East European history and especially Russia from the 18th century to the present. Among his publications are: “Die Provinz wählt. Russlands Konstitutionell-Demokratische Partei und die Dumawahlen 1906-1912 (1996)”; “Expedition ins unbekannte Sibirien” (1999). Prof. Dahlmann is the Chairman of the Board of the Zikic Foundation.
